We are a Christian family-owned business and are members of the Meadow View Mennonite Church. Our goal is to serve our community with integrity and transparency in a way that brings glory to God. We strive to give our customers a noteworthy experience with our high-quality service. Our products and services speak for themselves.
Our family processed our own deer, beef, and pork growing up. Some of us children enjoyed it thoroughly, so we decided to start a small business. In 2013 we opened Resaca Deer Processing and processed 117 deer that first year. Each year we processed more deer until we
outgrew our space. In 2019 we built a new facility and changed the name of our business to Resaca Meat Processing LLC. This enabled us to expand our deer processing to over 2,000 deer per season as well as begin the custom processing of beef and pork. In the spring of 2023, we acquired our retail license and started selling meat.
We have an experienced team of butchers who enjoy working with all types of meat whether we’re on
the slaughter floor, fabricating beef carcasses, or making delectable smokehouse products. We value our employees and strive for a pleasant atmosphere that builds integrity and personal growth through team work.
We serve individual farmers, local producers, hunters, chefs, and home cooks alike in the Northwest Georgia and Southern Tennessee area. It’s our pleasure to give you an exceptional experience!
